Tell me it'll be alright, my dear. Tell me it'll be alright, my dear. Say it's gonna be alright. Wrap me in your arms, my dear. Wrap me in your arms, hold me tight. Say it's gonna be alright. I keep diving in the deep ocean of mind, thinking how to live this life. You keep pulling me from the water undefined, stop me from sinking in this whirlpool and bring me back to life. Help me see the light, my dear. Help me see the light, take the blindfolds of my eyes I keep diving in the deep ocean of mind, thinking how to live this life. You keep pulling me from the water undefined, stop me from sinking in this whirlpool and bring me back to life. I'm getting stronger with you here, with you here. Next time I will be there when you need me like I need you now. I keep diving in the deep ocean of mind, thinking how to live this life. You keep pulling me from the water undefined, stop me from sinking in this whirlpool and bring me back to life. [Outro] Everything is gonna be alright, my dear. I'll wrap you in my arms, hold you tight 'Cause with me you'll be alright.

Wake Me Up 03:56
Wake me up in the middle of the night Say you love me, say you love me. In my dream you smiled at me Said you love me, said you love me. You like the south, I like the north. You adore the sun, I adore the stars. We were so different that we were madly in love. We were madly in love. Years went by and things fell downhill. Ignorance and silence drained our love away. The hate came out from each others mouths And tears poured over my face Were we really lovers? So Wake me up in the middle of the night Say you love me, say you love me. In my dream you smiled at me Said you love me, said you love me. In the morning everything comes clear. We still yarn for each others warmth. Seems it's gonna be fine again But will we smile again? Will we smile again? So Wake me up in the middle of the night Say you love me, say you love me. In my dream you smiled at me Said you love me, said you love me.

Missed Chance How are you my darling? I wish I could hear from you again. It's been years since you wrote. I hope this is not the end, not the end. Your words touched me deep You brought light to my darkness You told me I inspired you, you told me not to give up. Your strength brings hope to my world. I missed the chance to know you. I missed the chance to thank you. I missed the chance to repay you for your words. That's why I wrote this song for you. Your mother helped you write the letter. She said my voice eased your pain. You lay in the hospital bed, humming with my songs You smiled despite the poison in your veins. I missed the chance to know you. I missed the chance to thank you. I missed the chance to repay you for your words. That's why I wrote this song for you. Keep smiling and keep singing Don't be afraid, you are not alone, not alone. Keep smiling and keep singing Don't be afraid, you are not alone, not alone. I missed the chance to know you. I missed the chance to thank you. I missed the chance to repay you for your words. That's why I wrote this song for you. That's why I wrote this song for you. But when I wrote back you're already gone When I wrote back you're already gone.

about

Originally from Taipei, Kim has been sharing her melodious and warm voice in the streets and cafes of Canberra since 2016. As a late bloomer in music, Kim realised there were so many stories from her life that needed to be shared. In 2017, she started writing songs that speak from her lived experiences as a young adult, a partner, a daughter, a sister, a friend and an insecure soul, with a mixed genre of Folk, Pop, Blues and Jazz.

Kim Yang's debut 3-track EP Ocean of Mind, produced by Guyy Lilleyman at Amberly Studios, Canberra, Australia. This EP features 3 melodic and emotional songs about love, hope and loss written by Kim Yang.
